Singer Bella Shmurda recently underscored the significant impact that veteran rapper and YBNL Nation head, Olamide, has had on his musical journey.

During a recent discussion on the London 90 podcast, Shmurda expressed deep gratitude towards Olamide, stating that if he were to acknowledge those who have played crucial roles in his life, he would mention Olamide even before his own mother.

“If my children ask me who helped me, I’ll mention Olamide first before I mention my mother”.

“Olamide is the only top artiste that is successful internationally and still supporting African music awards.

“Others won’t want to come for Headies Award but they can spend millions to go to the Grammys”.
