Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has declared that former governor Adegboyega Oyetola is set to run and triumph in the upcoming 2026 governorship election.

Speaking in Osogbo, Oyintiloye emphasized that Oyetola, who currently serves as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, is well-equipped to reclaim power from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He stated, “We’re ready to take back power from the PDP in 2026; the people are eagerly anticipating this change. Oyetola not only has the first right of refusal but is also actively consulting and preparing to make a strong comeback to the Oke Fia Government House.”

Oyintiloye highlighted Oyetola’s effective governance during his earlier term, pointing to significant advancements in health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure, despite limited federal allocations.

He praised Oyetola’s recent accomplishments in the Marine and Blue Economy Ministry, noting his contributions to increased revenue generation, port infrastructure development, and improved trade processing.

Encouraging party unity, Oyintiloye called on APC members to rally behind Oyetola as he strives for electoral success in 2026.
