Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared how he drew strength from evangelist Rev. Uma Ukpai after the sudden loss of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye, over three years ago.
Pastor Adeboye revealed that Rev. Ukpai’s strong Christian faith, despite losing two children in a car accident, supported him during his darkest moment.
During a special service at the International Worship Centre in Uyo for Rev Ukpai’s 80th birthday, Pastor Adeboye shared how Ukpai’s unwavering faith gave him the strength to carry on.
He recalled how his son had called him on a Sunday evening to share the success of their weekend program, only to receive news of his son’s passing two days later.
Pastor Adeboye expressed his gratitude to Rev. Ukpai for being a source of inspiration and strength during that difficult time.
He emphasized the importance of serving God regardless of circumstances, citing Rev. Ukpai’s unwavering dedication to his faith despite his personal losses.
