The Senate caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convened on Thursday to tackle the ongoing crisis within the party.
This initiative came after a prolonged closed-door meeting lasting over three hours and led by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro.
Moro, who represents Benue South Senatorial District, informed reporters post-meeting that an expanded committee, which includes former governors and prominent party members, has been formed to engage with dissatisfied members.
The committee’s mandate involves identifying key grievances and facilitating a peaceful resolution, after which they will submit their findings to help the party progress.
