Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, a renowned Nigerian disc jockey, has shared that she’s facing pressure from others to abandon her plans to pursue a fourth degree at the age of 31.
Her announcement sparked a heated debate, with some encouraging her to apply her existing knowledge in real-world scenarios rather than seeking additional academic credentials. In a recent social media post, DJ Cuppy confirmed that many are imploring her to forego further education and leverage her current expertise in her profession.
She wrote:
“People are really begging me not to go back to school for a 4th degree [laughing emoji]. LMAO.
The music star graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in African Studies in 2023.
She earned a degree in Business and Economics from King’s College, London, in July 2014. In 2015, she earned a master’s degree in music business from New York University.
