Peter Obi Reconciles with Labour Party Chairman Julius Abure

Published on

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has allegedly reunited with the party’s embattled national chairman, Julius Abure.

This development was confirmed by Kehinde Edun, the legal adviser of the Abure-led faction of the Labour Party, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.

Edun stated that Obi has not made any public statements about leaving the party and believes he is working with Abure again.

The Labour Party has been dealing with a leadership crisis, and this reconciliation may signal a positive shift for the party. However, some stakeholders have warned Obi that his actions could impact his chances in the 2027 election.
