Portable, a well-known Nigerian singer, recently met with Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, in Edo State, and his reaction has been making waves online.
Portable was performing in the state, while Obi was there to support Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate
In a viral video, Portable is seen showing respect to Obi by bowing beside his car. However, in another video, Portable expressed his disappointment, saying Obi didn’t offer him any money.
He even compared Obi to President Bola Tinubu, implying that Tinubu would have been more generous. Portable told his crew, “Obi cannot give us anything. If it was Tinubu, he would have given us something. Let’s go”.
