Rick Ross, a renowned American rapper and record executive, is facing a lawsuit for failing to make his Car & Bike Show wheelchair accessible.
Darris Straughter, a disabled individual, alleges that despite purchasing a ticket and notifying event organizers two weeks in advance, he was unable to attend the event held at Ross’ estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Straughter claims that organizers promised refunds to those who couldn’t access the event but failed to follow through.
He is now suing Ross for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The lawsuit seeks damages and a court order requiring future events to provide proper disabled access.
