Rivers Governor Fubara Advises New Police Commissioner to Shun Nocturnal Meetings

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has urged the new Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, to avoid attending nocturnal meetings that could compromise his neutrality and declare “war” on Rivers people .

Fubara emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order, protecting lives and properties, and being apolitical in his duties.

He also tasked Adepoju with tackling cultism and kidnapping in the state, particularly in boundary communities .
