Nigerian leaders are split on President Bola Tinubu’s directive to Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State to implement the Supreme Court’s judgment and maintain peace amid a political crisis.
Some leaders, like Professor Benjamin Okaba, President of the Ijaw National Congress, believe Tinubu’s directive is biased towards Minister Nyesom Wike, while others, like former Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor Senator Chris Ekpenyong, see nothing wrong with the president’s advice.
