Veteran rapper, Ruggedman, has come to the defense of afrobeats singer, Davido, who has been under fire for his recent comment on the Nigerian economy.
Davido had warned American citizens against relocating to Africa, especially Nigeria, due to the country’s economic challenges.
Ruggedman, whose real name is Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, took to his X handle to express his support for Davido’s comment.
He emphasized that criticizing Davido would not fix the country’s economic problems. Instead, Ruggedman urged the government to take action to address the economic challenges facing Nigeria.
Ruggedman wrote, “Ok Davido has said what he said, moving forward the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again. All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation. The hardship is too much.”
