Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the esteemed Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, made a notable appearance at a recent event, causing quite a stir online.
At the 65th birthday celebration dinner of former Oyo State First Lady, Florence Ajimobi, held in Ikoyi, the presence of the Oluwo of Iwo was a significant highlight.
The event, which took place on a Friday night, was a grand affair, attended by distinguished guests including Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma and his wife, Barrister Chioma Uzodinma, as well as Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, along with celebrities Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa.
The Oluwo of Iwo’s entrance particularly stood out among the evening’s moments. While traditional expectations may have leaned toward a regal ensemble resembling that of the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Abdulrosheed chose a modern twist, donning a sleek black suit and hat.
