Popular Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, has disclosed that her family’s name was initially Ojukwu before the Nigerian civil war.
She explained that her grandfather’s name ‘Ojukwu’ was changed during the civil war to avoid being attacked, as people assumed they were related to the late Biafran war general, Ojukwu.
Stella revealed this during an interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, stating that she was born into the name Damasus, which was changed to protect her family.
