The Taraba State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a smooth and well-organized local government congress.

This congress will take place in all 16 local government councils of the state, as well as the two special development areas. The event is scheduled to occur two weeks after the ward congress was successfully carried out in the state’s 168 wards.

In a press statement released by the party’s spokesperson, Andeta’rang Irammae, it was stressed that all delegates participating in the congress must strictly adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the party.

The congress aims to elect 18 executive members of the party, as well as one national delegate, from across the local government councils in the state.
