Nigerian musician, Stanley Omah Didia, known as Omah Lay, expressed his belief that if the Super Eagles of Nigeria were to emerge victorious in the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), it would have a seismic impact on the world.
During a conversation with West Ham defender, Kurt Zouma, which was shared on the club’s social media platform, Omah Lay shared his enthusiasm for Nigeria’s performance in the AFCON, remarking on the passionate reactions of fans and the excitement surrounding the tournament.
“It’s incredible to witness the energy and excitement surrounding Nigeria’s campaign in the AFCON. I have high hopes that this could be our year. If we were to win, it would be a game-changer. The impact would be immense,” Omah Lay stated.
Given his busy schedule touring and performing live, Omah Lay admitted that he does not always have the opportunity to follow football closely.
However, he emphasized the significance of a potential AFCON victory for Nigeria, highlighting the potential global influence of such an achievement.
