Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has opened up about his journey to winning the heart of his wife, Busola. In a recent interview with Pulse, Dakolo shared how he met his wife in church and initially asked her to be his date for a ball. However, she wasn’t interested in a romantic relationship at first, and Dakolo had to persist in his pursuit of her.
Dakolo revealed that his wife was initially embarrassed by his car, a branded Picanto he won from Nigerian Idols in 2007. He said, “She used to be embarrassed whenever I picked her up with the car, but I told her not to worry, that I would shock her.” Dakolo’s persistence eventually paid off, and the couple got married in 2012. They have since welcomed three children together.
Dakolo’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and determination in relationships. Despite facing initial rejection, he remained committed to winning his wife’s heart, and his efforts ultimately paid off.
