Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to Tony Okocha, the Chairman of the ousted Committee of the Rivers APC, about his claims that former Minister Chibuike Amaechi plans to sack President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
In a statement released to the media on Sunday, Eze warned Okocha against using Amaechi as a means to profit from his paymasters and their allies who feel threatened by Amaechi.
Eze reminded Okocha that the failures of the current administration under Tinubu’s leadership provide enough reasons for Nigerians to oust him from office in 2027.
Eze also emphasized that it is premature for Okocha to discuss 2027 when uncertainties surround the next minute of anyone’s life.
He urged Okocha and his supporters to consult Tinubu and those who formed the APC to determine who the true leader of the party is in Rivers and the South South region.
Eze accused Okocha of organizing a paid protest in support of Tinubu, which cost over fifty million Naira but had no impact, in order to maintain favor with his paymasters.
Eze encouraged Okocha and his alleged sponsors to focus on finding solutions to the multitude of problems hindering Nigeria’s progress, as they are the ones who created these issues.
