President Bola Tinubu has made key appointments in various governmental roles, including naming Daniel Bwala, a former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, as Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media.
Alongside Bwala, three individuals have been appointed as directors-general of various agencies: Mr. Olawale Olopade has been designated as Director-General of the National Sports Commission; Dr. Abisoye Fagade will lead the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism; and Dr. Adebowale Adedokun has been appointed Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, remarked that Olopade brings extensive experience as a sports administrator and has previously served as the commissioner for youth and sports in Ogun state.
Dr. Fagade is recognized as a marketing communication professional and the founder of Sodium Brand Solutions, while Adedokun previously held the role of Director of Research/Training and Strategic Planning at the Bureau.In a statement, the President urged the newly appointed officials to fulfill their duties with dedication, patriotism, and excellence.
