Famous Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has expressed her solidarity with her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, in her battle against a N500 million lawsuit from Naira Marley.
According to reports, last Thursday, Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, sent a legal letter accusing Iyabo Ojo of spreading false and defamatory content about him on social media.
Naira Marley demanded a settlement of N500 million from Iyabo Ojo, with a public apology.In response to the lawsuit, Iyabo Ojo filed a counterclaim of N1 billion.
In a letter dated December 18, 2023, addressed to Naira Marley’s lawyers, Iyabo Ojo’s legal team stated that the singer’s claims in his lawsuit were “misleading” and had not been officially served to their client.
On Tuesday, Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page and announced her support for Iyabo Ojo.
She shared a copy of Iyabo’s N1 billion counterclaim and wrote, “We started together, we will finish this together. No matter what.”
