Trevor Noah, the renowned South African comedian and producer, has been announced as the host of the 67th GRAMMY Awards, marking his fifth consecutive year in this role since 2021.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025. This year’s nominations feature a strong presence of Nigerian Afrobeats singers in the African Song Performance categories.
Burna Boy received a nomination for his hit song “Higher,” while Asake was nominated for his collaboration with Wizkid, “MMS.”
Tems stands out as the only African musician with three nominations across the global music categories. Other notable Nigerian singers who made the list include Davido, Yemi Alade, and Lojay.
