Wanni, a contestant on Big Brother Naija, has extended an olive branch to her fellow housemate, Onyeka, after a heated altercation between them. Wanni had initially lashed out at Onyeka, using derogatory language, after feeling betrayed by her actions.
However, following a conversation with her twin sister, Handi, who reprimanded her for her behavior, Wanni took responsibility for her actions and apologized to Onyeka for her hurtful words.
She regretted using a derogatory term to describe Onyeka. Wanni acknowledged that she is working on managing her emotions, particularly when it comes to feeling hurt by those she trusts.
She said,
“I got very mad, that was why I used ‘B’ word and because I consider us friends. And when my friends do something to me, I get very emotional.
“From the start, I shouldn’t have come at you like that. You were mad and you had every right to say what you said. I should have explained to you. When I came back to call you ‘B’ word, I’m very sorry about that.
“I’m still working on controlling my emotions. And by God’s grace I will achieve it. I shouldn’t have called you the ‘B’ word. I shouldn’t have spoken to you the way I responded to you at the table.
This week has been weird and I felt it. Moving forward, maybe we will spend time with you guys and you guys will understand me more. I’m very very peaceful. Extremely peaceful. Trust me, Onyeka, if I have something to say to you, I will say it in your front. I don’t go behind people to say something. I’m not like that.”
