The ongoing feud between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, is set to intensify as their camps prepare to face off in the Supreme Court on February 10.
The two camps have filed five separate cases against each other, which will be heard by a five-member panel led by Justice Uwani Musa Aba-Aji.
The cases stem from irreconcilable differences over Rivers State matters, including the presentation of the 2024 budget and the conduct of local government council elections.
About 50 Senior Advocates of Nigeria represented the two camps during the proceedings.
