Nollywood actor, Dejumo Lewis, a renowned figure known for his appearances in Yoruba movies, has tragically passed away at the age of 80.
The news of his death was officially shared by his fellow actor, Saidi Balogun, via an announcement on Instagram.
With a heavy heart, Balogun wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace.” This heartfelt tribute reverberated throughout social media, as actors and fans alike expressed their sorrow and condolences.
Dejumo Lewis made a significant impact in the Nigerian film industry, particularly in movies such as “A Place in the Stars,” “Crossroads,” “Power of 1,” and most notably, for his portrayal of the Kabiyesi character in the iconic series, “The Village Headmaster.”
