Popular Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi’s former partner, Grace Jimoh, has criticized him for referring to their son, Akorede, as the result of a failed contraceptive method.
Yomi faced significant backlash on social media after posting a video on Instagram on Friday. In the video, he criticized the Nigerian customs service for allowing low-quality condoms to be imported into the country, resulting in unwanted pregnancies.
Grace took to her own Instagram page to express her disappointment with Yomi’s comments. She emphasized that when she first informed him about her pregnancy, he was excited and supportive.
“Ngbeke feeling funkky, you wey be say dem suppose carry your head go river go wash off dey feel funkky. See someone that was crying that he finally got one when I broke the news of being pregnant, can you explain how you were being happy? He is now a product of torn condom?
“Anything for social media validation, or to make me feel bad? Taaaa, I owe my son the best of life even in death, I will do anything to make him happy, don’t worry, I will help you out, it’s just a matter of time. I now see the reason they ran away with your first child, it really worth it, you are not worthy to be called a FATHER.”
